Kavan Named Director of Materials Management at Columbus Community Hospital

Zachary Kavan, has recently been named as Director of Materials Management at Columbus Community Hospital. Kavan will be responsible for management of day-to-day activities of the supply, purchasing and distribution department, purchasing hospital capital expenditures, negotiating vendor service contracts, and system inventory management within the hospital.

Kavan received his Master’s of Arts in Management (MAM) from Doane College in 2010 and was previously employed in Lincoln, NE by Stericycle, a bio-medical company. At Stericycle, Kavan was responsible for transportation, plant operations, and purchasing for their Lincoln, NE facility.

Kavan and his wife, Chana, have two sons and look forward to relocating to the Columbus area.
