Other Deparmental Information

Our visiting hours are from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Women may choose up to three people to be with them during labor and the birth of their baby. Siblings are encouraged and welcome to meet their new brother or sister. Because infants are more susceptible to infection, all children will be screened for infection upon admission to the unit and are encouraged to stay home if they have recently been sick.

At Columbus Community Hospital we strive to provide new parents with the education needed to care for yourself and your new baby. We offer childbirth classes, tours of the unit, Baby Care classes and Breast Feeding classes.
